In 1835 P.V. started making handmade shoes. He specialized in mountain and rough terrain shoes. His shoes were bought by the inhabitants of Montello, Treviso, Belluno and the surrounding mountains. These shoes continued to be made for the following 2 generations. |
| Then, in 1919 the nephew Pierluigi created a specialised company creating hand-made, unique shoes to order. Pierluigi focused his production on mountain and sport shoes. |

In 1960 Giuseppe Vendramini implemented the production creating two new lines respectively of ski and motorbike boots. The line of traditional mountain boots though remained one of the most important aspects of the Vendramini production: in spite of the economic pressure these shoes continued to be handmade. |

| In 2001 Vendramini created for this traditional line of shoes a new trademark, Pietro Vendramini. It has its own department where a craftsman makes each pair of shoes from the beginning to the end all by himself. They employ some of the few shoe craftsmen able to produce the renowned "Norway workmanship" which has been perfected by Vendramini, obtaining more lightness. |
